Microsoft hat es in den Unternehmen und Ämtern geschafft, als alternativlos zu erscheinen, besonders mit MS Office. So wie in München: Egal, was es kostet, der alternativlose Status Quo muss auf den Desktops in den Amtsstuben wieder hergestellt werden. Dann muss man sich auch keine Gedanken mehr über die eigenen IT-Organisation machen, sondern macht einfach mit dem Geldverbrennen weiter.
Wer auf Microsoft Produkte setzt kann schließlich nichts falsch machen. Aber auch nichts richtig.
Ich bin gespannt, was passieren wird, wenn Microsofts Plan, alle Kunden nach Azure und zu Office 365 in die Cloud zu migrieren weiter geführt wird. Vermutlich nichts, dann liegen halt Unternehmens- und Regierungsdaten in der Cloud bei MS. Was kann da schon schief gehen?
Es geht aber noch besser, nämlich wenn sich die Führungsriege mit iPhones und iPads vom Rest der Mannschaft absetzen will. ;-)
Das Thema ist ganz schön frustrierend, aber ich bin gespannt auf die Doku. Ich gucke sie mir heute Abend in der Mediathek an.
