Hallo Freunde der Freiheit,
letzte Woche hatte ich die Gelegenheit eine Exkursion auf eine Intensivstation (AKH Wien) zu machen. Hauptaugenmerk war die IT, von Messgeräten bis Datenbanken und die Probleme damit.
Ich möchte hier kurz meine Gedanken/Erkenntnisse mit euch teilen.
Bei der Führung wurden drei Hauptprobleme genannt:
- langsame Systeme - sehr hohe Datenmengen die offenbar von einem zentralen System kommen. - scheinbar waren zumindest einige Rechner Linux-Thinclients der Firma Liscon. - 30 Sekunden auf ein Röntgenbild warten ist im besten Fall nervig und auf der Intensiv im Ernstfall sogar lebensgefährlich.
- Dokumentationsaufwand - Viele aber nicht alle Systeme übertragen die Daten selbständig ins System (Möglicherweise auch wegen fehlenden Standards?)
- Inkompatibilitäten - Vermutlich das größte und auch komplizierteste Problem - Verschiedene Software zwischen den Abteilungen - ua zB ein SAP System für Laborergebnisse, die nicht in das andere System eingespeist werden können - Wechseln zwischen mehreren Programmen um alle Daten eines Patienten zu bekommen.
Zu letztem Punkt ein paar Fragen an die Experten: - Gibt es internationale bzw EU-weite Standards im Bereich Patientendaten? - Wenn ja, werden sie in der Praxis irgendwo auch eingesetzt? - Gibt es hierzu schon Bestrebungen der FSFE ein Bewusstsein zu schaffen bei Gesetzgebern und Bevölkerung?
