Wäre doch vielleicht mal ne gute Idee eine Art Netz-Prominenz-Kampagne zu starten.
Also ohne Vorwürfe so nach dem Motto: Die Dinge, die du vertrittst, brauchen Freie Software. Aber du nutzt sie nicht und unterstützt sie nicht. Du bist ja schon ein Vorbild. Und von daher wäre es super, wenn du sehen würdest, wie viele Menschen sich an deinem Apfelcomputer ein Beispiel nehmen.
Da müsste man sich halt was schnippisches überlegen. Irgendwas, was man den Leuten anbieten kann, die zwar tatsächlich gerne ein besseres Vorbild wären aber dennoch jetzt nicht auf anhieb ihr betriebssystem ändern wollen.
Spontan fallen mir da folgende sachen ein: - Ein Aufkleber, den man über den Apfel kleben kann, der dann irgendwas Anti- Appeliges sagt. Lustig wäre, wenn man sich was überlegt, wo dann der Apfel durchscheint und dann durch den Aufkleber irgendwas damit passiert. Keine Ahnung, zum Beispiel kriecht ein Wurm durch oder so.
- Man könnte eine Art Aufruf starten: Für jeden Vortrag, bei dem ich Werbung für proprietäre Software mache, spende ich 10€ an die FSFE. Derartigen Ablasshandel gibt es auch beim Fliegen. Könnte doch auch bei uns funktionieren, oder?
- Wie wäre es mit einem Vortragsskin für Apple? Keine Ahnung, wie einfach sich so etwas umsetzen lässt. Aber halt etwas, was die "Promis" bei Vorträgen, wo man ihre Desktop-Oberfläche sieht "an schalten" können und was dann die Appleoberfläche bzw. Windowsoberfläche verändert. Da könnte dann stehen "Asche auf Mein Haupt! Ich habe immer noch nicht auf GNU/Linux umgestellt." oder "Nehmt euch an mir bitte kein Vorbild! Dieses Betriebssystem ist richtig doof" Und alle Applelogos sind durch Plussis ersetzt oder so. Müsste natürlich auch unbedingt in der Startleiste irgendwas drin stehen. Weil die sieht man dann ja meistens nur. Das zwingt die Leute ja fast, darauf bezug zu nehmen. Das könnte man auch mit dem Ablass-Vorschlag kombinieren und dann irgendwo direkt einen Spendenbutton einfügen oder so. Wenn man das richtig fesch macht, könnte es irgendwann zum guten Ton gehören, dass man so einen Skin laufen lässt, wenn man schon mit Apple oder Windows nen Vortrag hält.
- Man könnte ein Video machen: Softwarewechsel für Netzpromis.
Es wäre eine kreative Art, damit umzugehen. Und wenn wir nicht gleich mit dem erhobenen Moralzeigefinger daran gehen, sondern etwas spielerischer, könnte das die Wahrnehmung von Freier Software deutlich steigern. Außerdem gucken sich die "Promis" die ganze Zeit dann Werbung für Freie Software an und wechseln ja vielleicht doch irgendwann.
Wichtig fände ich jedenfalls tatsächlich, das Gespräch zu suchen. VIelleicht könnte man auch eine Diskussionsrunde organisieren? So wie als wir die Parteien eingeladen hatten? Vielleicht sogar mit Livestream?
Es gibt jedenfalls ne Menge Raum für Kreativität.
