im vergangenen Jahr hatte ich Matze von FSFE Berlin und LinuxlehrerInnen in Australien, USA und Neuseeland angesprochen, weil ich gerne eine Art "Selbstläufer" für die Verbreitung von Freeware unter Nachbarn in der Welt sehen würde, so dass sich Freeware wie Tupperware von selbst bis ins kleinste Dorf unter Nachbarn verbreitet und diese lokal Hilfe untereinander finden und ihr Wissen zu diesem wichtigen Thema vermehren.
Grundsätzlich klingt die Idee gut. Nur sollte Freie Software bitte nicht mit Freeware in einen Topf geworfen werden.
Mit dem Begriff Freeware wird zumeist kostenlose unfreie Software bezeichnet. Also Software, die meist nur in binärer Form kommt. Bei der man nicht die Freiheit hat, die Software untersuchen oder gar anpassen zu können.

Ich denke unfreie Software sollte von uns grundsätzlich nicht unterstützt werden, egal ob kostenlos oder nicht.
