ein schöner Artikel, auch wenn Constanze vorübergehend ihr C gegen ein K tauschen musste. >:) Zu Herrn Dobusch würde ich allerdings noch ergänzen, dass es durchaus fachliche Gründe für Freie Software gibt. Wer fachliche Gründe zur Basis von Politik machen oder behalten möchte, der muss allerdings schon politisieren und immer wieder beim Kontrollieren unserer Vertreter helfen. Insofern gebe ich ihm sehr Recht.
Gerade weil Politik über einen längeren Zeitraum und darin immer wieder intensive persönliche Ansprechpartner braucht, haben wir bei FSFE schon früh Hauptberufliche beschäftigt. Mit freiwilliger Arbeit ist gegen eine intensive Lobbarbeit von der anderen Seiten kaum anzukommen.
In Deutschland haben Freie Software-freundliche Unternehmen mit der Open Source Business Alliance ebenfalls einen Verband, um Lobbyarbeit zu organisieren, Seit Mitte 2017 auch als professionelle Position:
