Wir wollen vom Konzeptwerk Neue Ökonomie aus zusammen mit vielen Partner*innen nächstes Jahr einen 3-4-tägigen Kongress in Leipzig für über 1.500 Menschen zum Thema Utopien organisieren.
Stellt euch das Jahr 2048 vor, überlegt euch, wie die Zukunft sein soll. Wie kann sie gerecht und ökologisch sein? Wo wacht ihr auf? Wie bewegt ihr euch fort? Was esst ihr? Was arbeitet ihr und wie werdet ihr leben? - Wir wollen die Zukunft wiederentdecken in einer Welt, die in Richtung Umweltkatastrophe, Entsolidarisierung und rückwärtsgewandter Abschottung trudelt, in der es gleichzeitig aber auch Hoffnung gibt. Auf dem Kongress werden wir dafür positive Visionen entwickeln, teilen und diskutieren, die über die kapitalistische Wachstumsgesellschaft hinausgehen und dabei konkret vorstellbar sind.
Natürlich können wir so eine große Veranstaltung nicht alleine organisieren und wollen das auch gar nicht. Daher seid Ihr alle herzlich eingeladen, Teil des Orgakreises zu werden! Für alle die es nicht kennen - organisiert wird basisdemokratisch, die Hauptarbeit erfolgt in verschiedenen Arbeitsgruppen und alle 6-8 Wochen treffen wir uns am Wochenende zu Plena. Es ist auf jeden Fall ein toller Rahmen, um basisdemokratische Arbeit in größeren Gruppen kennenzulernen und seine Organisations- und Moderationsfähigkeiten in offener und inspirierender Atmosphäre auszuprobieren.
Falls ihr also Interesse habt - das Auftakttreffen ist vom 22.-24. November 2019 in Leipzig. Hier könnt ihr euch anmelden.

Congress on Utopias - Invitation to participate in the organizing team!
Hello together,
next year, Konzeptwerk Neue Ökonomie (Laboratory for new economic ideas) and many partners will organize a 3-4 day congress in Leipzig for more than 1.500 people on the topic of utopias.
Imagine the year 2048, think about what the future should be like. How can it be just and ecological? Where do you wake up? How do you travel? What do you eat? What kind of work do you do and how will you live? - We want to rediscover the future and strengthen hope for better in a world which seems to be drifting in the direction of environmental catastrophe, desolidarization and backward-looking isolation. At the congress we will develop, share and discuss positive visions that go beyond the capitalist growth society and are conceivable in concrete terms.
Of course we cannot and do not want to organise such a big event on our own. Therefore you are all cordially invited to become part of the organising team! For all of you who don't know such a thing - we organise by means of grassroots democracy, the main work takes place in different working groups and every 6-8 weeks we meet for full weekends in a plenum. It is definitely a great place to get to know grassroots democratic work in larger groups and to try out your organisational and moderation skills in a very friendly, open and inspiring atmosphere.
