Für die Bilddaten gibt es DICOM (früher ACR/NEMA). Das besteht einerseits aus verlustfrei komprimierten Pixeldaten (Röntgenbilder, Ultraschall, etc.), zum anderen aus Metadaten (Ort/Zeit/Körperposition, aber auch Patienten-Daten wie Name, Geburtstag, etc.).
