Ja, das Problem ist, dass NC recht streng ist. Eine NP (non-profit) Klausel wäre besser gewesen.
Das ist doch so gut wie synonym -- ohne Profitwunsch würde kaum jemand Handel treiben... (Im Deutschen ist "kommerziell" heutzutage praktisch ein Synonym für "profitorientiert". Im Englischen sind es prinzipiell unterschiedliche Begriffe -- aber in der Praxis kommt es trotzdem meistens auf's Selbe hinaus.)
Wie auch immer; NP hätte exakt die selben Probleme wie NC.
Dann muss man innerlich umdenken, wenn man freie Inhalte "verschenkt". Die meisten Leute denken, auch so, XY hat dies kopiert und verkauft es und wird reich dabei, das ist eine Sauerei.
Ja, aber diese Denke ist schlicht und einfach Blödsinn. Niemand wird davon reich, fremde Werke zu verkaufen, die frei verfügbar sind. Um reich zu werden, muss man einen Mehrwert bieten. Tatsächlich verkauft man dann den Mehrwert, nicht das ursprüngliche Werk. Und solange die Freiheit der Anwender dabei nicht eingeschränkt wird, ist es perfekt legitim.
