1. lumendatabase.org ist ein research project der Harvard University. Was da steht, hat keinerlei rechtliche Bedeutung.
2. Hast Du auf der Seite mal "Click here to request access and see full URLs" gemacht? Ich kann das nicht sehen. Kann nicht schaden.
3. Google - und nicht Du - hat eine DMCA bekommen von "Because Music" Sitz: Kayman Islands, das ist völlig eindeutig.
4. Hat Google Dir das mitgeteilt? Oder wie bist Du darauf gekommen?
*** 5. Entscheidender Punkt: Hast Du oder sonst wer vom Projekt irgendwas bekommen? *** Mitteilung, Brief, Email?
Solange Ihr nichts bekommt, müßt Ihr auch nix machen.
Aber wie Florian schon schrieb: Es gibt eine Tendenz in der Copyright-Mafia und immer wieder Versuche in die Richtung. Es kann also nichts schaden, sich auf solche Probleme vorzubereiten. Dazu kommt gleich noch eine private Mail.

also erst mal tief durchatmen würde ich sagen, denn ich habe den Eindruck hier gehen einige Sachen durcheinander. Also auf Google gelistet ist NewPipe ja nach wie vor, der erste Treffer ist bei mir F-Droid und dann kommt die Website, also da sehe ich erst mal keine Änderung.
Und dann ist da die DMCA-Takedown-Notice, die es eventuell gibt. Sehe ich das richtig, dass ihr da gar nichts bekommen habt? Also zumindest das verlinkte Dokument (ja, ich hab die zweite Mail auch gelesen) geht ja an Google, d.h. die werden aufgefordert euch nicht mehr zu listen oder so. Aber wenn es an euch ginge, hättet ihr da ja selber was bekommen, vermutlich sogar per Post, weil das bei euch ja vermutlich nur so geht. Also von daher braucht ihr denke ich erst mal gar nichts machen und könnt abwarten und beobachten was passiert.
Der Fall mit Invidious ist anders, weil Google da selber gegen die Entwickler vorgeht. Beides ist aus meiner Sicht aber Unsinn. In eurem Fall ginge es ja um Urheberrechtsverletzungen und da es bei Youtube keinen Kopierschutz gibt, sehe ich da als Laie zumindest keinen Rechtsverstoß, denn das ist ja erst mal eine Privatkopie. Dass das gegen Youtubes TOS verstößt, wenn ich da was runterlade, das mag sein, aber da wünsche ich Google viel Glück, mich auszusperren wenn ich mit wechselnden IPs komme.
Leider sehe ich aber die Richtung dahin gehen, dass Youtube irgendwann auch einen Kopierschutz einführt, der natürlich nicht ernsthaft wirksam ist, aber halt ausreichend, um so manchen Richter zu überzeugen und dann habt ihr ein Problem. Der Grund, warum ich denke, dass es langfristig dahin geht, ist, dass Youtube ein Geschäftsmodell hat, das Leute durch nervige Werbung dazu bringt, direkt Geld zu zahlen und das funktioniert nur wenn man die Werbung nicht anderweitig los wird. Und Plattenfirmen drängen auch immer mal wieder darauf, weil ihnen ja irgendwelche weitgehend fiktiven Gewinne entgehen wenn jemand ein Musikvideo lokal speichert. Das wird aber halt auch erst eine Urheberrechtsverletzung wenn ein Kopierschutz dran ist und ich denke deswegen wird es langfristig kommen.
