Hello,
Could you send this message to all Finnish Fellows? The message asks them to send mail to me, so that I would get to know who they are as at the moment you can't give me the name list.
Could you also give me a list of fellow post codes or cities? It would be useful to see where around Finland they are located.

Reinhard could also send you a list of all Fellows who said they would like to be contacted by us. But if you want to know more from them than their name and zip code, we can send out your message.

What do you mean with "who they are"?
The names of them, their e-mail addresses and maybe zip-codes. At the moment I don't have a clue who they are except for the ones I know personally otherwise.
Reinhard could also send you a list of all Fellows who said they would like to be contacted by us. But if you want to know more from them than their name and zip code, we can send out your message.
Reinhard checked this for me last year and none of the Finns allowed that in the join form. I think the wording is not good (and I've sent you feedback about this last year Nov 26th when you thought about redesigning the join form anyway).
But yes, I'll send the message to Reinhard.

Hm, in this case we have a problem. Normally Reinhard only sends this messages to Fellows who said they want to be contacted. But I agree with you that we have to clarify it on the join formular what this checkbox is about. Depending on the cultural background it might discourage people to let us contact them. From what you told me this is the case in Finland. (I hope we will soon be able to fix that in the join formular.)
Reinhard, would you see a hugo problem if we make an exception from our normal procedures for the Finnish Fellows, so Otto can contact them once by e-mail. Than Otto has the chance to explain them what he wants to achieve and they can decide to reply to him and get in contact with him.
Regards, Matthias

Don't you think that forwarding the email to them does exactly allow for that?
FWIW, here is the location of the Finnish Fellows:
9 x Helsinki 2 x Vantaa 3 x Espoo 4 x Tampere 1 x Oulu 1 x Ylikiiminki (good I could copy and paste that name ;-))
Thanks, Reinhard

Autsch, hope he'll not see it ;)

Yes, that's fine. What I meant is that we send it to them although they said they do not want to be contacted by us.

Ah, that's not an issue. No single Fellow in Finland objected against being contacted anonymously. So the mail sent yesterday reached all Finnish Fellows.
Thanks, Reinhard

Ah ok. So I misunderstood that.
