Hi!
We now start a campaign to build awareness that government websites do advertisement for non-free pdf readers.
The general idea is to organize a _two-waves-event_: the first part consisting in a contest, where Fellows, Fellowship groups country-team, and any volunteer we could enroll, would track governmental website where when clicking on a PDF, you get an advertising for downloading non-free software pdf reader to read it. Then they would send us the URL of these websites. The participants can do the research alone or as a group, and the FSFE would reward the most active ones with a price.
Bug reporters who participate would add the URLs to the website [1]. and then contact the authorities concerned and parallel to this, we would have a petition signed.
Please, let us know if as a coordinator you will help us spread the word about the PDFreaders campaign to your country team and be the intermediary between us and the participants in your country (and maybe the translators...), or if a hunter group is being organized in your country.
