Hi !
I've recently posted a new blog entry [1] concerning the legislation about concurrence, and governmental advertising (with aim to have useful material to argue with the public institutions when we will try to make them correct their websites). I've so far only been able to find information for France (which system I know better. If you know anything on this topic for your country, please send me this information !
Another information that could prove to be useful would be the tarification of online advertising in the different countries. Again, if you know something or if you have some time to dedicate to the research, comments will be welcome !
Thanks a lot for your help,
Best regards,
Maëlle

Hi, just sending you an update about an article on 01net, a french blog about IT, talking about FSFE initiative : http://www.01net.com/editorial/520972/la-fsf-veut-que-le-libre-aussi-soit-pr...
Almost perfect... except the confusion with fsf in the title. Anyway the link to pdfreaders.org is there.
For french readers, some of the comments are quite instructive of the awareness about Free software among average people : some of them are still pointing out FUD about Free software, and resolve the FSFE proposition in a simple competition between two private instances : FSFE vs Adobe, totally missing the point of *free* in Free Software despite some polite attempts to explain it.

Yes. Maelle already contacted them about it, they just ignored us…

You actually read comments on 01net ?! They're always useless FUD and trolls… the point made is clear: there is some kind of illegal advertising of proprietary software. We think that's not fair--and actually we don't target Adobe at all (we never mention them in our petition I believe), but our governments!
If I were you, I would just not pay attention to comments there :)
Best,
