Well, as many of the OSI folks and a a large part of the its supporters tend to see the GPL only as a restrictive subset (sic) of their licensing model, I think that it would be wise for us to promote something like this, if (and only if?) this kind of marketing material catch the medias attention.
It is not a matter of logos after all, but rather of values. Its already sad to see free softwares covered as "open source" in the news, we may not like to see stickers all over them too.
