In december (2011) Franz and I worked on a laptop sticker. Matthias managed to get some feedback from other people.
The reply was
There are too many elements on the sicker.
So the next step would be:
# Evaluate what sort of stickers we need and # How they need to look like.
Perhaps it's easy to just simplify the one we have.
on http://download.fsfe.org/advocacy/stickers/laptop-sticker/ I'm gathering the files we created so far.
The repository is accessible with
svn --username yourusername \ co https://svn.fsfe.org/advocacy/trunk yourlocaldir

Hi,
I changed the current design in case you want to stick to that. The font is "Russo One" available at http://www.google.com/webfonts. I'm not opposed to a completely different design though.

Thanks for your changes.
I uploaded the font and your file to the repository.
My first thought was that the font strongly resembles the "facebook"-Font. But I guess it was just the first thought. I looks quite nice.
There was much talk about the font we used last year. The one in use is called "Adler" (http://www.fontspace.com/carini-type-foundry/adler) and is actually not our favourite font. There is a typewriter with a more suitable licence: It's called GNUTypeweriter. http://openfontlibrary.org/en/font/gnutypewriter
I upload this font on the next run.
Any more suggestions or thoughts?

I like the binary one a lot. Please use the FSFE logo with text though so its clearer who it refers to.

I tried to Matthias' proposal of a transparent Sticker. But it is kind of inconspicuous. Well; the great realm of the designers@ (which at the moment seems to be me) could also create a custom made sticker; solely for your laptop. Of course after the FSFE's offical stickers are done. That way neither of us has to worry about a sticker that might not fit 100% to the designated purpose.
