I'm neither affiliated with the foundation in any way, nor with Debian - from what I could find, the adoption hangs here: http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/freedombox-discuss/2012-July/004154...
If it's a technical problem, I can maybe even help: Is ikiwik derived/forked from TWiki Wiki? I know the latter and its template system a little. Aside from that, I don't see how I could help you, sorry :(
